Connekt is one of our much-loved and most-installed systems within our extensive product range.

At the last count, we’d installed around 17,000 Connekt canopies at locations across the length and breadth of the country.

Hugely popular with nurseries, schools and other educational settings, we’ve established a huge following of happy Connekt customers over the last 30 years, so let’s take a closer look at it:

Who’s it aimed at?

Connekt is aimed at everybody, but we’ve found that it’s nurseries, schools and colleges that have the greatest demand for it.

Why was it designed?

We’ve been manufacturing and installing this particular canopy since we first started out to enable our customers to create sheltered areas that can be used in all seasons, not to mention, make more of their outdoor space too!

Connekt is a modular design and is the ideal canopy for school playgrounds. But it’s also used in plenty of other places and ways too. For instance, it can be used to create:

• Sheltered walkways
• Outdoor learning environments
• Dining areas
• Covered play areas
• Spectator and parent waiting shelters
• Sheltered entranceways
• The list is endless!

What’s so special about it?

Connekt is incredibly versatile, which is one of the reasons why it’s so popular! Not only can it be used for a multitude of purposes (like those listed above), there’s no limit to how long it can be and how far it can project. And it also comes with a ten-year guarantee, as standard, too.

Made from Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP), Connekt is maintenance-free and can be colour-matched to any RAL code. And, as well as providing shelter from the wind, rain and snow, Connekt’s Melinex gel coating protects against the sun’s harmful UV rays.

We also provide a free-standing umbrella within the Connekt range, which features a single central post, maximising the sheltered space it provides. Like the rest of our Connekt products, the umbrella can be colour-matched to a specific shade.

There’s also the option to install multi-coloured spokes too, which is a huge hit with nurseries and primary schools, making it much more than just a canopy for school playgrounds, but an eye-catching focal point!
