How to apply for Aldi Scottish Sport Fund grant
The Aldi Scottish Sport Fund was created to support and grow a love of sports in Scotland. If the only thing stopping your students from getting outside and enjoying exercise is a lack of budget, this grant is for you.

Your school must be within Scotland to be eligible.

What kind of projects do they fund?
The Aldi Scottish Sport Fund has previously awarded funding to various sports club, including gymnastics clubs, football teams and hockey teams. Since launching in 2016, they have provided financial support for almost 600 clubs, totalling more than £390,000.
If your school needs help creating or improving your sports clubs, this may be the right school grant for you.

What’s the deadline?
The application deadlines for the Aldi Scottish Sport Fund are regional and vary throughout the year. Here are the remaining deadlines for 2024:
- Glasgow & The West: Now open until Sunday 23rd June 2024
- Dundee & Tayside: Monday 24th June – Sunday 28th July 2024
- Fife, Perth & Kinross: Monday 29th July – Sunday 1st September 2024
- Edinburgh & The Lothians: Monday 2nd September – Sunday 6th October 2024
- South Scotland: Monday 7th October – Sunday 3rd November 2024

How much funding is possible?
You may receive a grant of up to £2,500.
