How to apply for London Mathematical Society grant
The London Mathematical Society grant was founded to bring mathematics to a wider audience, supporting people of all ages in their journey to loving numbers.
Is my school eligible?
This grant can be given to schools and organisations aiming to increase interest and involvement in mathematics. Projects working with people of all ages are eligible. More information of eligibility criteria can be found on the website.
What kind of projects do they fund?
The society looks to enrich mathematical study beyond the national curriculum, engage the public with mathematics, and encourage ways of communicating mathematics in new and exciting ways.
How do I apply?
To apply, download an application form from the website and return by email or post.
What’s the deadline?
Four rounds of grant applications are considered a year. The deadlines for each of the four rounds can be found on the official website. Applications should be submitted well in advance of the activity or event for which funding is sought, as grants will not be awarded retrospectively.
Education grants are currently on hold until 1st August 2024. The schemes will reopen after this date.
How much funding is possible?
London Mathematical Society offers small grants of up to £800.
