Red Kite Housing Association Case Study

Background

This is an ongoing project working with Ian Williams, one of the UK’s largest privately-owned property service companies. The company reached out to us as they needed us to help with a regeneration project for Red Kite Housing Association in High Wycombe.

The requirement

We needed to replace and renew the GRP door canopies at various addresses in High Wycombe for Red Kite Housing Association. Some of the existing, older door canopies are made from concrete, which makes them extremely heavy and potentially dangerous. Replacing them with GRP, or Glass Reinforced Plastic, is a much safer option. The material is an ideal, long-term solution for replacing door canopies in high volumes as it is light, affordable, practical and stands the test of time.

Results

We have supplied Ian Williams with various door canopies from the different canopy designs that we have on offer. This includes the Grove, a door canopy with a lead-effect design and moulded drip feature that’s ideal for traditional properties, as well as the Mayfield, which is great for complementing more contemporary styles.

Our customer is new to Canopies UK and is so far very impressed with the project. Feedback has been extremely positive, and we look forward to continuing our work alongside Ian Williams.
