The County High School, Leftwich

We worked with The County High School in Leftwich, a return customer, on expanding their outdoor space further with a second canopy.

Background

The County High School had already installed one of our Connekt back-to-back canopies, which gave students extra space to gather during breaks and lunchtimes. The school loved the design and usability of their original canopy and, recognising the need for even more sheltered space, decided to install a second canopy that would match the first.

The requirement

The goal was to give the students extra outdoor seating areas for break times, regardless of the weather conditions. The school wanted the new canopy to be identical to the original to maintain visual continuity, as the two structures would be located close together.

The challenge

Our main challenge was ensuring the new canopy seamlessly matched the existing structure, both in design and functionality. As the new canopy would be installed close to the original, it was essential that both the design and finish matched perfectly.

We also needed to carefully consider the available area, optimising the placement of the canopy without disrupting the flow of student traffic or existing outdoor features. Coordinating the installation around the school’s busy schedule was also crucial to minimise disruption to day-to-day activities.

The solution

We proposed an identical Connekt back-to-back canopy to match the original, as the school had been extremely pleased with its performance, durability and aesthetic. By replicating the same design, size and style, the new canopy provided the extra sheltered space needed while ensuring a cohesive look across the outdoor area.

Results

The installation was completed on time, as scheduled. The school now enjoys the benefits of:
